Fluval and Magnum on 60 gallon, too much?

posted by greg in Freshwater Tank Equipment

I am using two canister filters on my 60 gallon tank, an fluval 406 for bio filter https://www.amazon.com/Fluval-A217-406-External-Fi... and an older magnum 350 to polish the water.

Too much? water is clean, wonder if anyone else runs a similar setup?

60 gallon is on the smaller size for a Fluval 406, it will definitely keep your water clean and polished... You can read more about Fluval features here: https://tropicalfish.io/article/98/fluval-406-cani...

I didn't think they made Magnum filters anymore, those are really great for keeping the water super polished and free of really fine particles... It's a keeper, so take care of it, they are really great water polishers...
