Glass CO2 Checker?

Been keeping a planted tank for a while now, doing DYI CO2 and was looking into a Glass CO2 checker...

They look cool and need some DIY way to get an idea of how much CO2 is in the water column...

Anyhoo, has anyone had any experience using these?

I never used a CO2 checker, when I had planted tanks, I also used DiY CO2 yeast/sugar mix... I always aimed to have a steady stream of bubbles coming off the plants and lots of light...

My two cents, if you must get a CO2 checker, get a glass one, heard the plastic ones will crack and leak...
